Academic Spotlight: Meg Matthews, NMC '21- 2022-2023 Academic Achievement Chair

As ZTAs, one of our Nine Key Values is Lifelong Learning. In our chapter, we want to emphasize this importance and encourage all of our members to attend class and always try their best. The minimum GPA requirement is a 3.0, however, we understand that everyone may go through a semester with extremely difficult classes. If a member falls below the requirement, the Academic Achievement Chair will meet with them every other week to make an academic plan. Members are continuously reminded that they are worth more than their grades and as long as they are doing their best, that’s all that matters! The Academic Achievement Chair supports our members and helps them in any way possible to find or provide any academic services that could help them best succeed. We are starting study hours for our new members and girls on academic probation to start the foundation and continue building on education's importance. ZTAs are smart and capable of anything they put their mind to!
